A Kazakh radio presenter has been fired for commenting that Russian President Vladimir Putin is an uncle and that Russia could invade their country.

In a discussion on Facebook, a female presenter, Lyubov Banova, who worked for a radio station operating in Kazakhstan, commented that “if you talk too much, you will have to call Vovo Angle”.
Panova referred to Russian President Putin as Pavona Vovo.
In this case, the radio station fired him the next day. The company said his work contract had expired.
It is noteworthy that Kazakhstan has consistently refrained from criticizing Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
