The SSLC examination in the state will begin on Thursday. First Language Paper including Malayalam — 1 is the first day. Students should arrive at the examination hall at 9.45 am. The exam will start at 10 am. There are 2943 centers in Kerala and nine centers each in the Gulf and Lakshadweep for the examination which ends on April 29.
There are 4,26,999 regular students and 408 students in the private sector. There are a total of 2,18,902 boys and 2,08,097 girls. There will be no Higher Secondary examination on Thursday. As many as 71,000 students appeared for the Plus Two exam, which began on Wednesday. About 40 percent of the students said they were not bothered by questions from outside the focus area and were able to write with confidence.
