South Africa are 233 for four at stumps on the first day of the first Test against Bangladesh.

The first Test between South Africa and Bangladesh is being played in Durban. Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Captain Dean Elgar and Charle Ervey banged in as South African openers. This pairing gave South Africa a great start. Elgar, who added 113 for the first wicket, was dismissed for 67 for fifty. Erway was dismissed for 41 in the next over.
