The three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Australia is underway. The 2nd ODI between the two teams was played in Lahore yesterday as the Australian team won the first ODI.

Batting first, Australia scored 348 for 8 in 50 overs. Ben McDermott, who scored his first century, blasted 104 runs (108 balls, 10 fours, 4 sixes). Travis Head (89, 70 off 70 balls, 6 fours, 5 sixes) and Lapussen (59) hit fifty.

Pakistan then went on to score 349 runs for the loss of 313 runs for 3 wickets in 45 overs. Babur Assam, who became the first Pakistan captain to score a century against Australia, was caught for 114 runs.

Imam-ul-Haq, on the other hand, scored 106 off 97 balls. Finally, Pakistan scored 352 runs in 49 overs and won by 6 wickets. The one-day series with 3 matches is thus tied at 1-1.
