Ukrainian refugee Kravchuk can train with City

by time news

Manchester City have, according to the BBC, received permission from the Premier League to let Ukrainian refugee Andrii Kravchuk train with the club. This decision follows the intervention of Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Zinchenko. Both men played together in the youth categories of Shakhtar Donetsk. Kravchuk was training in Turkey with his Russian club, Torpedo Moscow, when the Russian invasion of Ukraine began. The 23-year-old midfielder who has terminated his contract has taken refuge in Manchester, where he will train with City’s Under-23 team for the rest of the season.
