The Antoñete de Las Ventas room hosts an exhibition in homage to the King of bullfighters from April 4 to 24. ‘Joselito el Gallo in Madrid: 1912-1920‘ is the title of the exhibition, in which the most outstanding moments of his career in the Madrid bullring are narrated through 60 images. Likewise, the most personal facet of the bullfighter is present in the tour, revealing what the city in which he lived during his stays in it was like.

The exhibition is directed by Javier López García and Víctor Jesús Madrid Fernández; the exhibited funds belong to both private collections and public entities.

The announcing poster It has been made by the Mexican painter Jano Solleiro, who, together with the painters Tico de la Rosa, José Tomás Pérez Indiano, Mario Sainz ‘Zíjara’ and the French caricaturist Olivier Fristch, has reflected Joselito el Gallo with his brushes.
