Water and Morp pavilion opened on behalf of DMK in front of Ramanathapuram new bus stand. Ramanathapuram City Council Chairman Karmegam presided over the function. District DMK Officer and Ramanathapuram MLA Kadarpatcha Muthuramalingam inaugurated the water and morph pandal and distributed buttermilk and watermelon to the public.
He later told reporters:
“The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has asked legislators like us, city councilors and DMK executives to provide water, morph pandals and fruits here and there to protect the public from the effects of the summer sun.
Accordingly, a water and morph pavilion has been opened in front of the new bus stand in Ramanathapuram district. Similarly, water and morph pavilions are to be opened at 143 places in Ramanathapuram, ”he said.
Reporters questioned the MLA, saying, “Some members of your party have been campaigning on social media that you are behind the complaint lodged by Regional Development Officer Rajendran against Minister Rajakannanpan.”
He replied, “The spread of the social networking site is a false accusation and those who spread it cannot be said to be political enemies. They are social enemies. As the District Superintendent, I am an ordinary volunteer who only dominates the work of the people. “
