After reaching its peak at the beginning of the week, Hapoel Ashdod concentrated on handball in the league struggles today (Friday) and defeated Kiryat Ono 27-24 in the first game of the quarterfinal series.

It was difficult for the Reds to land and the opening minutes also showed this, but in the end the quality gap made its own and the team managed to beat Kiryat Ono 27-24 and go up to 1-0 in the first game of the quarterfinal series.
