The prices of fuels including petrol and diesel are changing daily in line with the rise in crude oil prices in the international market.
Petrol and diesel prices have been rising for the last 10 days in Nellai, Tenkasi and Thoothukudi districts. Today is the 10th time in the last 12 days that their prices have risen again.
In Nellai, a liter of petrol was sold for Rs 107.74 yesterday. Today, its price rose by another 76 paise to Rs 108.50. Similarly, a liter of diesel sold for Rs 97.84 yesterday, up by 76 paise today. Accordingly, a liter was sold for Rs.98.60.
