Arab media outlets report that a short time ago (Friday), Ahmad Yunis al-Atrash, 29, was shot dead by IDF fire during clashes in Hebron after throwing a Molotov cocktail at the forces.

According to reports, he is an operative of the terrorist organization Hamas who was imprisoned in the Israeli prison and ran a long prison sentence of 8 years for security offenses.

An IDF spokesman said: A Molotov cocktail was recently thrown at an IDF force as part of a riot in Hebron. “The suspect risked his life and in response, the force fired at him and an injury was identified.”
