Doha: The organizers of the FIFA World Cup 2022 have announced a grand prize for the winners. The team that wins the World Cup will get a prize of Rs 319 crore. The runners-up team will get Rs 227 crore as prize money. The third place team will get Rs 205 crore and the fourth place team will get Rs 189 crore. Not over, the World Cup prize shower. The teams that finish in the fifth to eighth positions, i.e. in the quarter-finals, will get Rs 129 crore each.

The teams that lose in the pre-quarter will also get a big prize. These teams will get Rs 98 crore each. The teams that are eliminated in the group stage will also get an improved prize money of Rs 68 crore. Qatar will receive more than Rs 2,500 crore for the various teams and top players in the World Cup.

Germany and Spain will compete; Qatar in groups for the World Cup
