The party office for the DMK has been set up at a place provided by the Central Government at Upadhyaya Marg, Delhi. This office is named as Anna-Artist Academy. Chief Minister MK Stalin went to Delhi two days ago to inaugurate the building. During his visit to Delhi, he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union Finance Minister and made demands in Tamil Nadu.
In this context, the opening ceremony of the Anna-Artist Academy was held today. Anna – DMK leader and first lady MK Stalin inaugurated the artist academy.
The function was attended by Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, senior leader of the Marxist Communist Party Sitaram Yechury and Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moida. Leaders of Tamil Nadu political parties including MDMK general secretary Vaiko and Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) leader Thirumavalavan also attended the event.
