A source in the Ministry of Health revealed that the eligibility for treatment for non-Saudis in government hospitals does not include organ transplantation, dentistry, infertility, IVF, and bone marrow transplants.

He added that with regard to patients with renal failure, and based on the decision of the Council of Ministers, government hospitals are not entitled to perform dialysis for non-Saudis except in necessary emergency cases.
And he indicated that in such a case, the hospital administration must inform the nearest emirate or governorate promptly of the patient’s name, health condition and what his treatment requires, so that it, in turn, communicates with his sponsor to take care of the treatment of his sponsored in private hospitals, if this is available, or pay the costs in the case of treatment in government hospitals if He wished to remain insured.
