Doha: The first season of the Inter Sector Cricket Tournament organized by the Thrissur District Friendship Venue came to an exciting conclusion. The Guruvayur Sector team defeated Manalur in the match played at the Doha Old Ideal Indian School Grounds. The six – day cricket season, which runs for six consecutive days from March 25, has been rescheduled for 21 sectors, including 210 players selected in the Friendly Star auction, from 13 sectors and Talk Qatar.
Celebrities attended the public meeting and the award ceremony. Venue General Secretary Srinivasan welcomed the gathering. President Muhammad Mustafa presided. Treasurer Pramod offered his congratulations. Manikandan, KBF Chairman Shanavas Bawa, TPL Chairman Mohammad Shafi, Tournament Committee Co-ordinators Rajesh and Ummerkutty presented the prizes. Muhammad Rafi said thank you.
