‘A moment of joy and sorrow. He was a guest at an alumni gathering to mark the 100th anniversary of Pachiri LP School near Perinthalmanna. Coincidentally, after a long time, I came across my cousin Manjula who was at the Kozhikode Children’s Home.
I have known Manjula since childhood as a visitor to the home. Years later, Manjula was married off to a friend near Perinthalmanna. They later met at the ceremony after a long break. She misunderstood that I did not recognize her. During the function, I sang a folk song and went to the audience. I joined Manjula and introduced her to the audience.
