Despite the economic crisis in the country, the Sri Lankan rupee has remained stable against many foreign currencies.

According to a statement issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka today,

The purchase price of one dollar was 289 rupees 72 percent and the selling price was 299 rupees 99 percent.

The purchase price of a sterling pound is 380 rupees 53 per cent and the selling price is 394 rupees 92 per cent.

The purchase price of one euro is 323 rupees 18 percent and the sale price is 334 rupees 50 percent.

In addition, the purchase price of the Japanese Yen is 2 rupees 36 percent and the sale value is 2 rupees 46 percent.
