To situate the presidential candidates, Le Parisien offers you a daily poll from Monday to Saturday – called “rolling poll” – carried out by Ipsos-Sopra Steria, with our partner Franceinfo. Here’s what to remember this Monday.

Pécresse and Zemmour still down. Candidate LR obtains 8.5% of voting intentions less than a week before the election, down one point from Saturday. She had never “sinked” so low. The Reconquest! candidate is estimated at 10.5% of the vote, down one point from the start of last week. But Eric Zemmour regularly asserts that the polls “are wrong” because they do not take into account a possible “hidden vote” in his favor.

Macron remains in the lead. The presidential candidate remains at the top of the polls, with 26.5% of the voting intentions, ahead of Marine Le Pen (21%). The gap between the two is stable compared to Saturday but has narrowed significantly over the past two weeks. It could even be even smaller, if we take into account the margin of error (plus or minus 2.5 points). Jean-Luc Mélenchon is given 16% of the voting intentions.

Participation is stagnating. 69% of respondents say they would vote in the presidential election if the ballot took place today. This rate has been stable for several days, and it remains far from the 77.8% of voters who voted in the first round in 2017. Some of the registered voters could obviously decide to go to the polls in the last days of the campaign.

Still a small third of undecided. 31% of respondents who say they are sure of going to vote and who have a preferred candidate indicate that their choice can still change. This share is particularly high (55%) within the pro-Jadot electorate.

Methodology: survey carried out online over the last three days, on a sample of more than 1,500 people questioned by Internet. The results presented show the accumulation of the interviews carried out over the last three days. This barometer tracks voting intentions and opinion on a day-to-day basis. Quota method.
