Ernakulam: The Cooperative Employees Union has directed the employees to recover the money given to avoid foreclosure in the Muvattupuzha foreclosure controversy. The union issued the directive after Ajesh, the head of the household, rejected the promise of the employees. Bank chief Gopi Kottamurikkal had said that the CITU had paid the entire liability of the foreclosed house.

But Ajesh said they did not need to repay the loan and did not want the money of those who abused him. Ajesh had said that he would accept the help of Mathew Kuzhalnadan MLA.

The employees came on the scene after Mathew Kuzhalnadan MLA took charge. Ajesh said the MLA’s money was enough. Ajesh said that he had spread the word on social media that he was an alcoholic and that the employees who did not take a positive stand despite going into the bank came to the scene to cover up their fall.
