Technology giant Apple has announced that its annual developer conference, WWDC, will begin on June 6 and end on June 10, in about two months. As is the best tradition, Apple will hold a launch event on the first day of the conference – where it usually reveals operating systems and software relevant to the various devices, such as the iPhone and iPad.
Most often, Apple unveils at WWDC the new iPhone operating system, and most likely at the upcoming event the company will announce iOS 16. The new operating system will be released to beta users and then released to all other users around the world. Alongside this, the company will launch additional versions of the operating systems of its various products: iPhone – iOS, iPad – iPadOS, Macs – macOS, smartwatch – watchOS and smart TV – tvOS.
Apple is emphasizing in this event the software developers who build apps for its platforms. Many of the events are for developers who want to get tips and advice from Apple employees so they can develop better apps. Apple’s global community today numbers more than 30 million developers, so events of this kind are especially important to their community. Some developers and students will be able to apply and attend an event from Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California.
According to rumors, the technology giant may announce a new model of one of its desktops, the Mac Pro. During the last launch event, the company tossed hints that it would be announced later this year, which is a possible opportunity.
