The Ministry of Transportation announced today (Wednesday) the roads that will be blocked ahead of the right-wing demonstration that will take place tonight at the Cinema City junction. As a result, changes in bus traffic in the area are also expected.
According to the ministry’s announcement, the changes in public transportation will begin from 3:30 pm until the end of the service. Rabin Boulevard will be closed to traffic, in both directions, from Ben Zvi Blvd. to the Aliya Junction from Begin Blvd., due to the demonstration. The bus lines that pass through this route will change their route in accordance with blockades and guidelines of the Israel Police.
As part of this, changes will apply to the following lines:
Bus lines destined for or originating in Betar Elite will skip Sixth President Street and travel through Herzl Street and the Nation Buildings.
Line 100 – From Jerusalem to Shafirim, he will skip the stations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs / Ruppin, Kaplan / Ruppin, the Knesset / Kaplan, the Rose Garden / Sussman, the Supreme Court / Sussman, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs / Begin, and will stop at the Gesher HaMitarim / Herzl Boulevard station.
Lines 294, 293, 292, 291, 290 (Lines Company) They will change their route, skip the buildings of the Nation / Sixth President buildings and the National Park / Sixth President Boulevard and pick up at the Nation Buildings Station (5200) and the String Bridge / Herzl Boulevard.
Lines 117 and 192 (Kavim Company) Skip the National Car Park Station and the Nation / Sixth President Buildings.
Lines 133-137 (Egged Transport) Canceled station – Social Security (will start from the second station, Nation Buildings)
Lines 131,132,130 (Egged Transport) Canceled stations: Sderot Hanasi III, National Insurance Station
Lines 156, 267, 269, 264, 265, 270, 268, 260, 262 (Egged Transport) Station Canceled Nation / Sixth President Station
Lines 78, 78A, 531, 504, 163 (Superbus) They will travel through the Sixth President and the String Bridge.
Line 15 (Egged) – Will get to Central Station and back to Talpiot.
Lines 14 and 35 (Egged) – Will reach Givat Ram and back to Malcha.
Line 6 (Egged) – Travel through Bate, Gates of Justice, Man of Peace.
The ascent and descent to Begin Blvd. and Herzl Blvd. will remain open. However, further changes may occur in real time, in accordance with police guidelines.
