As you may recall, Grobeis, who is considered the father of ultra-Orthodox cinema, has made over 100 films in his career, and in 2011 decided to retire from the industry, and turned to producing news programs. A few months ago, he announced that he had returned to the world of cinema and produced a film called “The Forgotten Story,” which was filmed in Poland, and deals with the life of Rabbi Yisrael “The Baal Shem Tov.” One of the actresses in the film is singer Adi Beatty.
