Washington: The United States has decided to develop a ‘hypersonic’ missile through a joint defense alliance with Britain and Australia called ‘Agus’ to counter Chinese domination.
The United States, Britain and Australia formed the AGAS Security Coalition in September last year to curb the growing military presence in the Pacific Ocean and intensify security operations.
China and Russia are engaged in the development of hypersonic missiles that can fly so fast that they cannot be intercepted by any anti-missile weapon. The U.S. military has confirmed that Russia was involved in the missile test last year.
Russia has been using hypersonic missiles in the war in Ukraine. Following this, the leaders of the three countries have decided to produce hypersonic missiles on behalf of the US, British and Australian defense alliance ‘Agus’.
