Lighting Ratha Bhavani at the Thayamangalam Sri Muthumariamman Temple Panguni Festival.
Manamadurai: Sivagangai District, Ilayankudi Circle Dayamangalam Sri Muthumariamman Temple Panguni Festival Lighting Ratha Bhavani was held on Wednesday night.
The Panguni festival has started at the Thayamangalam Muthumariamman Temple. One of the highlights of the festival was the chariot ride in front of the temple. The chariot then departed from the position after completing Deeparadhana.
In it, crowds of devotees grabbed the rope and pulled the chariot. Ratam Bhavani came around the temple and joined the stage. Temple Heritage Trustee M. Venkatesan Chettiar, local villagers and a large number of devotees participated in the procession.
