GDRFA Dubai launches new Advanced Amar Center

Dubai ∙ The Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has launched the new Advanced Amar Center in Dubai. The state-of-the-art Amar Center is located on the Jumeirah Palm Strip.

The Center operates in such a way that Visa services and other government services are made available to the user expeditiously. The center was inaugurated by GDRFA-Dubai Deputy Director Major General Obaid bin Zuroor yesterday.

The new center is different from previous Amer centers and is equipped with advanced digital equipment for faster transactions. The new center will have a coffee shop and rest area, unlike the previous one.


Luff, head of GDRFA, said the department had launched the new centers in line with Dubai’s vision to make life happier and easier for customers. General Mohammed Ahmad Al Marri reported. It was also launched as part of the ongoing development of Amar Centers.

The new center will handle all GDRFA-Dubai services, including entry permits, permit revocation, work permit issuance, residency status modification, request for medical tests, Emirates ID services for nationals, residents, private companies and government agencies.
