Israel’s women’s team is currently hosted by its counterpart from Serbia as part of the World Cup qualifiers for women. Gili Landau’s girls have lost in each of their five games so far in the campaign, having of course lost a chance to rise.
Israel started with a 4-0 loss to Portugal, later surrendering 1-0 to Germany, 7-0 to Germany away, 4-0 to Portugal away and 3-2 to Turkey in their last game, which took place at the end of November where they scored first goals in the campaign.
On the other side of the barricade, Serbia opened their campaign with a 2-1 loss to Portugal, but have since won in each of their last four meetings, Turkey twice and Bulgaria twice, so they are in third place at home with 12 points, just one less than Portugal second.

Minute 5, Gate! Serbia went up to 0: 1: Giovanna Damenjanovic got the ball in the box and continued with a soft touch with the heel to Amit Cohen’s net to score her sixth in the qualifiers so far.
Minute 9: Noam Echtel put a deep ball to Coral Hazan who kicked and missed the frame by a few inches.
17th minute: Noa Slimohogic put a ball to the cantor who kicked into the net, but the flag was raised and the goal was disqualified.
30th minute: Demoniewicz was built, raising a ball from a stationary position to Cohen’s court, Viola Slovic came first, but the brake kick went over the crossbar.
