Haut-Rhin: MP LR Jacques Cattin indicted for “violence” against an RN regional councilor

Jacques Cattin is in the eye of justice. The deputy Les Républicains of the 2nd district of Haut-Rhin was indicted on Thursday for “violence against a person responsible for a public service mission”, according to the Colmar prosecution. He is accused of attacking a regional adviser of the National Rally in May 2021.

This indictment comes within the framework of a judicial investigation and “the investigating judge is continuing his investigations”, specified the public prosecutor, Catherine Sorita-Minard. Jacques Cattin was not placed under judicial supervision.

Jacques Cattin is accused of attacking an RN regional adviser, Christian Zimmermann, on the sidelines of a rally on the teaching of Alsatian, on May 29 in Colmar, according to information from the Latest News from Alsace.
