Chennai: Chief Minister Stalin has said that social justice will definitely be upheld in consultation with legal experts on the issue of 10.5 per cent internal quota for the Vanni.

BJP, – GK Mani: The Supreme Court has ruled on the issue of 10.5 per cent reservation for Vanni. The verdict is in a way in favor of the state of Tamil Nadu and social justice.
Of the seven reasons cited in the High Court for repealing that law, six have been rejected. The reservation has been canceled, citing lack of accurate data and statistics. Therefore, the Chief Minister should collect statistics based on the facts and implement the 10.5 per cent reservation.
Chief Minister Stalin: The Government of Tamil Nadu has vigorously argued in cases filed in the High Court and the Supreme Court against the law of the State, which provides for a special provision of 10.5 per cent for the Vanni community.
The recommendation for this special allocation was made in 2012. However, the bill was passed in the Assembly half an hour before the Code of Conduct for Elections came into effect on the evening of the evening of the announcement of the 2021 Assembly Elections.
Then, there is no need to say whose government it is. With regard to this special provision, social justice will definitely be established in consultation with the legal experts.

Speaking on the issue of 10.5 per cent reservation for the Vanni, the Assembly Congress leader, Selvaperungai, blamed the AIADMK.
