Mumbai: Kolkata Knight Riders ‘Nitish Rana has been fined and Mumbai Indians’ Jaspreet Bumra has been fined for breach of discipline in the IPL. The IPL officials said in a statement that the duo had violated discipline after Kolkata’s 5-0 win over Mumbai on the back of Pat Cummins’ explosive batting. Rana, who committed a level-1 offense under the IPL rules, was fined 10 per cent of the match fee. Bumra was also charged with a Level-1 offense but escaped a fine. The statement did not say what disciplinary action they had taken.
