Actress Yami Gautam protests against Film Companion’s criticism of her latest film Daswi in which she is the heroine. Yami said the film company should stop criticizing her performance from now on and that there should be no positive criticism from her side. Daswi, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Yami, was released on Netflix on April 7. The actress was angered by the film companion’s reference to Yami’s performance in the film. Yami Gautam is no longer the murdered heroine of Hindi cinema. But the laughter repeats itself- that was the reference.
I want to say one thing before I say anything, I always include positive criticism. But when certain platforms are constantly trying to push me down, I feel the need to talk.
Actors who have come up with self-effort like me will need a lot of tomorrow’s hard work to prove themselves. Popular portals say it is heartbreaking. Many of us once listened to Film Companion. But for a long time I did not pay attention to it. I beg the Film Companion not to criticize my performance anymore. It will ease my pain- about Yami.
