Dubai: (www.kvartha.com 08.04.2022) Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, has unveiled a new law to digitize public and private services in Dubai. Under the new law, digital services will be available to customers in Dubai, from judicial institutions to private companies.
By law, digital services must be customer-friendly. The law stipulates that these services should be made available to the visually impaired and the disabled at no extra charge. It is recommended that digital services be made available in Arabic and English.
The law also stipulates that companies may outsource their digital services to a government or private entity, subject to rules and regulations. In addition, companies are required to provide digital services in accordance with the standards set by the Dubai Digital Authority.
