As part of the implementation of the roof agreement in Ashdod, thousands of housing units will be built in a number of projects intended for residents and those entitled to the Ministry of Housing. One of the projects is the “Youth Complex” in the City District, which includes 285 housing units. The project is intended to be built south of Menachem Begin Road, behind the “Directions” center in the City Quarter and near the new municipal building.

This week, the Israel Land Authority and the Ministry of Construction and Housing announced the first tender for the construction of housing units in Lot 142 in the complex. The tender includes the construction of 94 housing units in three buildings above the foundation floor, which will also have kindergartens. 56 housing units are intended for those entitled to the Ministry of Housing at a target price, and the remaining 38 housing units will be for sale at market prices. Additional for general development expenses, including payment for upgrading infrastructure in the old neighborhoods.
