Kochi: The Crime Branch has given an opportunity to actress Kavya Madhavan to decide where to appear for questioning in the case of attack on her. Such a suggestion was made before the Crime Branch star, stating that it was a benefit given to a woman who was a witness. However, the Crime Branch clarified that the date or time fixed for questioning will not change.
The crime branch had issued a notice asking him to appear before the probe team on Monday. He was earlier directed to appear at the Aluva Police Club. This has now been changed. Kavya has been directed by the Crime Branch to inform her whereabouts, though there is no difference in time and day. Investigators have received information that Kavya Madhavan, who is currently in Chennai, will return today.
Meanwhile, the probe team had informed the court that there was digital evidence that cast doubt on Kavya’s role in the case where the actress was attacked the previous day. An audio recording of Dileep’s sister talking to her husband Suraj Sarath about Kavya’s role was also submitted to the court.
