The Espai Eat Art in Banyoles presents the exhibition Lluís Vilà. El Blanc Il·lumina, a careful selection of twenty works, including sculpture and painting, created by the artist Lluis Vilà (Banyoles 1952-2010) in the last stage of his life and which now see the light precisely in what was his house-workshop, today one of the headquarters of the Fundació Lluís Coromina.

The exhibition, curated by Ricard Planas, explores the artistic force of the creative series by Lluís Vilà Nautes, a set of anthropomorphic figures that incorporate bread as a symbol of our civilization and that becomes a recurring element throughout of his artistic career.

Coinciding with the exhibition by Lluís Vilà, the edition of a new book-catalog has been presented with an exhaustive collection of the works Absolut i Nautes. A work that reflects, revises and updates this stage of the artist collected in a volume fruit of the work of more than five years.

With this exhibition, the Lluís Coromina Foundation resumes its exhibition activity in Banyoles after the pandemic.
