New Delhi: Chennai Super Kings star MS Dhoni’s IPL promotion advertisement will be withdrawn. The Advertising Standards Council of India has recommended that the ad be withdrawn.
The order was issued after considering a complaint lodged by the Road Safety Organization. The ad was released on March 4. Dhoni arrives as a bus driver. The bus stops in the middle of the road to watch the Super Over match. At this time, the traffic police came and inquired about the matter and Dhoni said it was a super over.
Upon receipt of the complaint, the Advertising Standards Council recommended that the ad be changed or the ad withdrawn altogether. The company has said it will withdraw the ad.
