District Judge Arulmurugan said that people should use reconciliation island centers to solve problems.
The annual ceremony for the Reconciliation Island Center was held Saturday at the Integrated Court Complex in Nago.
District Judge Arulmurugan presided over the function and spoke on the occasion. Much attention will be paid to the food and needs of both parties in the future.
People should make use of compromise island centers. He said the judiciary would continue to take steps to create awareness among the public.
The event was attended by Pokcho Court Judge Chandra, Chief Criminal Court Judge Mayakrishnan, Family Judge Joseph Roy, Chief Justice Ramalingam and judges, lawyers and court staff. Welcoming remarks by Nambirajan, Acting Judge, Center for Compromise Island.
Earlier in the day, an awareness rally was held in Nagako to explain the applications of the Samaras Island Center from the court premises to the Anna bus stand.
