An incident took place at 7.30 am yesterday at Wennappuwa, Thambarawila at a petrol station where a person was waiting in line with a vehicle to get fuel.
The deceased has been identified as Mohamed Jasmine, a resident of the Kochchikade battle area in Negombo, police said.
Wennappuwa police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
