Manju Warrier recognizes Dileep’s voice in the audio clips received by the investigation team in the case of attacking the actress. Manju’s statement was recorded by the crime branch as part of the ongoing investigation. The aim was to confirm whether the voice in the audio messages was Dileep’s. Dileep’s sister’s husband Suraj, brother Anoop, Dr. Aluva. The four-hour interview was conducted to identify the voices in the phone conversations of Hyder Ali and others. Manju recognized the voices of everyone, including Dileep.
The crucial audio recording of what is suspected to be Dileep’s was released on Saturday. On November 15, 2017, Dileep released a 10-second conversation with his friend Baiju Chengamanadu at his Padmasarovar home in Aluva. This is a conversation recorded by director Balachandra Kumar. This is one of the six affidavits filed in the Crime Branch High Court on Friday. During questioning by the crime branch, Dileep said that the voice in it was not his own. But some other witnesses have also identified Dileep’s voice. Sound has been sent to the Forensic Lab for testing.
The questioning of Kavya Madhavan has been changed
Kavya Madhavan’s interrogation has been postponed to Wednesday as part of the ongoing probe into the attack on the actress. Kavya from Chennai will reach Kerala only on Mondays. Kavya had asked the investigators to allow another day as it was inconvenient. In the presence of ADGP S Sreejith, a team led by DySP Baiju Paul is interrogating him with digital evidence.
The interrogation will take place with director Balachandra Kumar, who provided the crucial audio recording to the police in the case. Based on the information obtained from this, Dileep may be questioned again. It is also being considered to question all three together. A crucial audio recording was released which strengthens the suspicion that Kavya was involved in the case. The conversation between Dileep’s sister’s husband TN Suraj and Sarath, known as the VIP in the case, came to light. Suraj talks to Sarath about Kavya’s role in the nine – minute audio recording. According to the audio recording, the incident was caused by a feud between Kavya and her friends.
