He has given a sensational confession that he cheated on his wife by not giving her property near Salem and killed his brother-in-law’s second wife and threw her into a well.

Asokan (age 42) hails from Pakadappadi village near the entrance of Salem district. He is survived by his first wife Vijaya (37) and second wife Selvarani (35). He has a 15-year-old son.
In this situation, Selvarani left the house on the 31st and did not return home. Then on the 2nd he was found naked in a farm well owned by Saravanan near his farm.
Police investigation
Weerakanur Police Inspector Sivakumar has registered a case in this regard and is actively investigating. Ananda Murugan, the brother of the deceased, had complained that the death of his sister was suspected.
Attur Sub-Police Superintendent Ramachandran led a team of 3 personnel and was actively searching for the culprit. Asokan’s sister’s husband Sivaraj (52) surrendered yesterday in the presence of Vellaiyoor Grama Nirbhaya Officer Muthiah. Then at night when Selvarani was walking alone I got into a quarrel. I was drunk then. Selvarani misquoted me in an argument between the two.
Angered by this I took a nearby tree and hit him hard on the head and he fainted. I immediately took off his clothes, tied his hands and feet, then tied a stone to his sari and threw it into a nearby well.
They think she was raped and thrown into the well while she was naked. So I threw it in the well. Police continued to search. Therefore, I surrendered in person in the presence of Vellaiyoor Grama Nirbhaya Officer Muthiah, said farmer Sivaraj in his confession.
