‘Tarteel 22’; The beginning of the Quran competitions | ‘Tarteel 22’; The beginning of the Qur’anic competitions

Doha: The Rizal Study Circle across the Gulf has officially launched the Holy Quran competitions and related events during Ramadan under the name ‘Tarteel 22’. Launched at 916 regional unit centers, the Tartil Sector will conclude with the finals in each country in the first week of May after the Central competitions. The holy month of Ramadan, celebrated by the organization during the fasting month of the revelation of the Qur’an, which guides man and paves the way for peace; Tartil is being organized as part of the ‘Holy Quran’ campaign.

This year marks the fifth edition of the Tarteel, an annual event to recognize students and young people for their study and recitation of the Qur’an and to recognize those who excel in this field. Tilawat (Recitation Science), Hifl (Memorization), Rehabul Qur’an (Research Essay), Qur’an Seminar and Qur’an Quiz are the main categories in Junior, Senior and Super Senior categories. In addition, Qur’anic lectures and Iftar will be held in connection with the competition.

Organizers said the event, which will be held in Qatar, Saudi West, UAE, Saudi East, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait, will feature 5,000 contestants alone. Competitions are open to those who register through a specially prepared port.
