During the visit, the Chief Rabbi presented the Governor, R. Yehuda Davidov, with a unique silk belt combined with a piece of the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s garment, along with the Passover Haggadah, as an appreciation for his important support of the Kimcha Depsha project in Moscow.

The charity collectors who run the large array have submitted to the Chief Rabbi the lists of recipients, a list that has grown this year due to many of them having difficulty with the multiple expenses of the upcoming holiday, as a result of the cost of living that rose greatly during this period.

In parallel with this extensive distribution, the heads of all Chabad houses in Moscow distribute special kits for performing the two Pesach Sederim in the Kabbalah houses, which include: reserved matzah, seder signs, Pesach Haggadah books and detailed explanatory pamphlets; By the rabbis and shluchim throughout the great capital, in a special effort to reach as many Jews as possible and bring them the joy of the holiday.

Kosher food for Passover is also distributed to patients in hospitals, along with reserved matzah, and even in prisons, Passover arrangements will be held with Jewish prisoners.
