A 14-year-old girl who attended a birthday party for the son of a Trinamool Congress party executive has died after being allegedly gang-raped.

Samarindra Kayali is a panchayat leader from Hanshakil village in Nandiya district of West Bengal. His son Barajgopal (21 years old) is a Trinamool Congress executive.
Meanwhile, Barajgopal, son of Samarindra Kayal, celebrated his birthday last 5th night. A 14-year-old 9th class girl from the same village participated in the birthday party.
The girl’s parents have alleged that the girl was sexually abused by Barajgopal and his friends who attended the birthday party. According to the girl’s parents, our daughter was sexually assaulted at a birthday party. The night after the birthday party some of our daughter came home in the car and left. Our daughter, who was suffering from severe physical pain, died at home early the next morning due to excessive bleeding.
Trinamool Congress executive Samarindra Kayalin and his son Barajgopal threatened us that we would burn down the house he told about this outside.
Therefore, we have buried our daughter who died due to fear of that threat and lack of courage, ‘said the girl’s parents.
Following this, the parents of the girl have lodged a complaint with the police regarding the incident that took place on the 10th.
