Mumbai: Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Faf du Plessis shares friendship with Chennai Super Kings players during the 15th season of IPL (IPL 2022). When he arrived for training yesterday, Duplessis ran towards the Chennai players. Faf is currently the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and CSK (CSK).
Duplessis shared his friendship with all the players, including CSK coach Stephen Fleming, former skipper MS Dhoni, captain Ravindra Jadeja, opener Robin Uthappa and all-rounder Moin Ali. Duplessis played for Chennai for four years. Duplessis was acquired by Bangalore in a recent star auction and replaced by the outgoing Virat Kohli. Under Faf, RCB went on to win three of the first four matches of the season.
Chennai Super Kings-Royal Challengers Bangalore match is in progress in the IPL. The match will be played at Mumbai DY Patil Stadium. RCB skipper Faf Duplessis won the toss and elected to bowl Herschelle Patel was replaced by Suyash Prabudeshai and David Wiley was replaced by Josh Hazlewood in the RCB’s playing XI. However, there is no change in the Chennai playing XI.
Chennai Super Kings have won 18 of their last 28 matches. Royal Challengers Bangalore have won just nine matches. One match was abandoned. Bangalore have a high score of 205 and a low score of 70. Chennai’s top scorer was 208 runs. The lowest score was 82. Chennai had won both their encounters last season.
