Russia’s Defense Minister says more than 1,000 Ukrainian troops have surrendered during the Russia-Ukraine war.
Russia’s attack on Ukraine has been going on for over a month. The Russian army, which has attacked and destroyed various parts of Ukraine, has also suffered heavy casualties.
Russian forces have attacked civilians, mainly in cities including the Ukrainian capital, Kiev. Ukraine said it had received more than 1,000 bodies from Kiev.
