The statue of Vijay was erected by an electronics company in the Erode district of Tamil Nadu. The statue is in the look of the star ‘Beast’ movie. The cost was around Rs 4 lakh.
Earlier, Vijay fans in Tambaram area were in the news for distributing petrol in connection with the release of the film. One liter of petrol was distributed to 100 fans. Fans say this is a celebration because petrol prices are rising day by day.
However, in the first hours after its release, the film received mixed reviews. Criticisms are rising about the flaws in the script of the film. Apart from Vijay, Pooja Hegde will play the lead role in the film directed by Nelson Dileepkumar. ‘Beast’ is the fourth hit film with Sun Pictures. The film has been released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
