Tourists enjoyed bathing for a long time as the water in the waterfall was soothing to the sun. Also, in order to cope with the impact of the Veil, a large number of people are flocking to the waterfalls.

The water level at Kumbakkarai Falls near Periyakulam in Theni district has been declining for the past few months. During the week, it rained extensively in the catchment areas of the falls, including the Western Ghats and the orbit.
Due to this, the water supply to Kumbakara Falls has increased slightly during the last two days. Also, water was gushing out of Kumbakarai Falls due to heavy rains that continued last night. Tourist arrivals are expected to be high as the water level in the falls has increased in the run-up to the holiday season.
