Gold prices have risen sharply in the past 45 days due to Russia’s war on Ukraine. The pound has surpassed Rs 40,000 to shock jewelery customers.
It was feared that the price of gold would rise further as the Ukraine war continued. But instead the price gradually went down.
After that the price of gold went up and down. In this situation, the price of gold has been rising for the last 10 days. Gold rose to Rs 39,896 a pound from Rs 38,480 on the 4th. Gold, which had traded at Rs 39,576 yesterday, has risen by Rs 320 to the pound in a single day today. The gram price has gone up by Rs 40 from Rs 4947 to Rs 4,987.
The pound has risen a total of Rs 1,416 in the last 10 days.
Like gold, silver is on the rise. Today, the price of a gram has gone up from Rs 72.70 to Rs 73.80 and from Rs 72,700 to Rs 73,800 per kg.
