The iconic guitar of the lead singer and guitarist of the band Nirvana, the late Kurt Cobain, is expected to be sold at a special auction in the month of Bab for a price of no less than $ 800,000.
The guitar, which Cobain played in the famous clip for the song “Smells Like Teen Spirit” in the 90’s, is known as one of the most famous in the rock world. This is a Blue Fender guitar from 1969.
“This is one of the most famous guitars ever put up for auction,” said sales director Julian Nolan. “The guitar also comes with the original case and the original strap, which is really important for collectors.” Nolan added that the guitar has remained in Cobain’s family since his death in 1994. Nolan claims that the estimate that the guitar will be sold for about $ 800,000 is a “conservative” estimate.
