Joseph Gatt was arrested for sexually explicit chats with a minor. The British actor was picked up by the Los Angeles Police on 6 April following a house search, but was released shortly after on bail. Over the course of his career, Gatt has appeared in numerous successful television series, including “Game of Thrones”, “Teen Wolf” and “True Detective,” but now his professional future appears to be shadowed by heavy accusations. The explicit conversations with a minor are still being examined by the authorities, but Gatt already denies categorically.
The actor pleads innocent
From his social channels, Joseph Gatt denies any involvement and illegal conduct with minors, arguing that his arrest is entirely the result of a mistake: “Obviously I want to face the absolutely horrible and completely false accusations recently leveled against me. They are 100% categorically wrong and reckless. I confirmed the errors and misleading information in today’s press release, I am cooperating fully with the LAPD to get to the bottom of the matter. Can’t wait to clear my good name. Thanks to all my friends and supporters who know this is not true and understand that for legal reasons I cannot comment further on social media. “
