Explosion in Nes: Windows and Walls Blown Out

A man is charged with the explosion in Nes municipality late Wednesday night. Several windows and a wall between two apartments were blown into the explosion.


The man who was suspected after the explosion has now been given the status of the term, the Eastern Police District said at 2.22 night to Thursday.

What does “status of the term” mean? This likely refers to the individual being formally charged or taken into custody in connection with the explosion.

The explosion, which took place in Nes municipality At Romerike in Akershus, caused several windows and a wall that separates the apartments to be blown out.Police say it is probably a small propane tank that stood on a terrace.

The man who is now charged was exuberant when the police arrived.

– He was inside the apartment when it narrowed and is damaged. The degree of injury is not defined, but it does not appear critical, says operations manager Melissa Krag to Romerikes Blad.

The man is transported to hospital.

First Aid: In case of an explosion, prioritize safety. Check for injuries, call emergency services, and do not enter the affected area until it is indeed declared safe by authorities.

The building where the explosion took place is a detached residential building with several entrances and a total of 14 apartments. Investigations of the extent of damage have been made, including to check that the building is supported and safe.

Two of the apartments are uninhabitable after the explosion.
