The actress, Anya Buxtein, shared yesterday (Thursday) that she had an abortion at week 12 and the difficult feelings that accompany it. Buxtein, like many celebrities like Jordan Harel and Anna Aronov shared that they had an abortion and thus raise awareness of the important issue that is not usually discussed but actually happens to a lot of women.
Buxtein wrote: “I did not think we would be in this bad dream again. This time it felt positive and stable and I allowed myself to let go and rejoice.”
“But life shows me again that control is not in my hands, that I do not run this business the way I want to think. This morning in great pain I had to have an abortion. This time in week 12.”
“The comforting words I say to myself are well-known clichés but what we do is it really helps. Everything in its time, it makes sense even if I do not understand it at the moment.”
Buxtein added that she shares the sensitive issue on social media: “Last time it gave me a lot of strength and also for other women who go through similar experiences every day.”
